SYNOPSIS

Laura is a gynaecologist at a children's maternity hospital; she is married to Luis, a paediatrician at the same hospital, and they have two children.

When Laura decides to opt for the same post as Luis at the hospital, a breach opens up in their marriage driving Laura to struggle to keep her family while staying true to her chosen profession.

In this difficult situation, David, a neonatologist at the hospital and one of Laura's closest friends, will be her support, but also her dilemma, because he is actually in love with her.

Doctors, residents, patients and the whole children-maternity world provide the main characters with stories about maternity (approached from angles such as cancer, teenage pregnancy, infertility...). Personal and moving stories about people with a commitment to their profession who are trying to find their place in life.
